Did you recommend alignment and balancing as if they were the same? Before approving, ask to be explained what was measured and what problem is intended to solve each job. This guide helps prepare that conversation; does not diagnose your vehicle at a distance.

Two different works

The alignment adjusts the angles of the wheels according to the manufacturer's specifications. The balancing corrects differences in weight distribution of the flat and wheel assembly. One does not automatically replace the other: a vibration does not allow the choice of service without inspection. Technical source: Michelin: alignment and balancing.

What information to carry

It notes year, brand, model and mileage. It explains when the discomfort started and if there was change of tires, repair or recent blow. Distinguish what you notice on the wheel from what you notice on the seat; it indicates whether it appears when you stop or during the run. Do not do high-speed tests to reproduce it. If the vehicle is difficult to control, stop in a safe place and ask for assistance.

Questions before authorization

  • What checks do the recommendation support?
  • Does the budget separate inspection, adjustments, parts and additional work?
  • Can I receive the available measurements and an explanation of their limits?
  • If there is another need during the review, will you consult me before you continue?

He has the recent bills, without assuming that a previous job was wrong. He describes facts: "it started after..." helps more than asking for a specific piece. wheel rotation: changing positions is another decision and should not be confused with these two operations.

Organizes a consultation in Hialeah

Send us the vehicle data and your concern for WhatsApp 407-912-9803 We offer free initial inspection of a concern, Monday to Friday from 9: 00 to 14: 00; it is not a comprehensive inspection and does not include repairs. We do not promise a result or a price before evaluating the vehicle.

English: alignment and balancing are not the same

Before approving both services, ask what was checked and what each item is intended to address. Alignment concerns wheel angles and manufacturer specifications; balancing concerns weight distribution in the tire-and-wheel assembly. A vibration alone is not a diagnosis. See the Michelin reference above.

Prepare your service request

Share the year, make, model, mileage and when the concern began. Mention recent pull work or an impact, without assuming a cause. Explain whether you feel it in the steering wheel or seat and whether breaking changes it. Do not drive faster to reproduce a symptom; if control feels unsafe, stop safely and seek assistance.

Ask for a clear estimate

Ask which checks support the recommendation, which measurements can be explained, what the estimate includes and whether additional work requires your approval. Bring recent inventions. Our linked tire-rotation guide covers a different maintenance decision; rotating tires is not a substitute for investigating your concern.

Contact us to arrange availability. A free initial inspection of one concern is offered Monday-Friday, 9 AM-2 PM. It is not a comprehensive inspection and repairs are not included.
